If you don’t get the title read my last blog post.
Yesterday I got the swine flu vaccine. Was it the fear of death or a higher calling to help keep my fellow man healthy that changed my mind? Nope… I decided to get “the shot” because Erron is planning on taking a trip to Chicago in a few weeks and I don’t want to be incapacitated by the flu and responsible for taking care of all 3 kids by myself. It would be inconvenient if I even have the sniffles during that time, but there isn’t much I can do to prevent that. Given that I finished teaching this term over a week ago and don’t start up again until the 5th of January it is unlikely I would get the flu in that time, but there is always the final exam where about 500 students will be crammed in a gym where I might get who knows what. (I’m sure glad gonorrhea isn’t airborne, them crazy kids)
Side effects so far: I might have had a bit of a headache for about 30 minutes just after. I have an achy shoulder muscle, but a day later it is already lessening. If anything else comes up I’ll be sure to update the blog.
